Postpartum Care

Postpartum Care

Postpartum care begins with a prenatal consultation. Together we can create a postpartum care plan, determine what a familyโ€™s growth edges may be, and where their strengths lie. This meeting helps us to better understand what a successful fourth trimester looks like for you.

Assistance during the postpartum period is focused on the birthing parentโ€™s recovery, the non-gestational parentโ€™s experience, and newborn care. I offer emotional and educational guidance while addressing common challenges associated with chest/body or bottle feeding, caring for multiples, creating routine, and anxiety around newborn care. Other areas of support include creatively adapting methods of care to accommodate parents with limited mobility, encouraging spiritual connections when navigating self care after a traumatic birthing experience, and referral to medical professionals as needed.

Birthing Care

Birthing Care

A safe birth is a human right. I offer birthing support that is based in informed consent, intuition, and empowerment.

When we work together for your birth, we will meet to talk about birthing education, comfort measures used during birth, pain management, and postpartum planning.

I prioritize working with BIPOC and trans/gender non conforming birthing families, but am open to all who seek my support.

Abortion Care

Abortion Care

Your life, your body, your way. People of different identities, ethnicities, body types, financial status, etc. all have the right to gentleness, care, and safety when it comes to their abortion. This process looks and feels different for everyone - no matter what walk of life you are on, I support your decision. I offer abortion care because everyone deserves a reliable and knowledgeable ally while navigating the legal, physical, and ceremonial aspects of caring for their abortion.

Gender Affirming Surgery Doula Care

Gender Affirming Surgery Doula Care

As a member of the gender non conforming community, I experience a regular need for advocacy, physical care, emotional, and sometimes spiritual support. For my transgender friends who choose to pursue a medical transition, I hope to support you in discovering the vision you have for yourself. My goals are to help you develop language that feels right for your body, make and implement a care plan that helps you recover from surgery, and find methods of healing that speak to you.
